If you've been tasked with organising a corporate event the chances are you're excited but also a little bit stressed. After all, you make the difference between a night to remember that attendees talk about for years or a washout night everyone would rather forget.
The biggest decision you have to make is actually deciding on what to do for the entertainments, as once you have this right most other things begin to fall into place, so to help inspire you here are a few ideas of what you could do.
First up is one which is sure to please the women at your event- chocolate making! Often used as a daytime exercise you could incorporate the art of chocolate making into a full evening of events, by having pre dinner chocolate making, a chocolate themed meal, a chocolate fountain & chocolate themed cocktail menu.
A gala dinner would be a more traditional event, and whilst these are quite common, with the right planning they can be some of the best nights people have had! If you do go for a gala dinner then luxury and indulgence is definitely the key to success, so make sure the best menu possible is selected, order plenty of champagne, and make sure your entertainment reflects the mood.
To get the adrenaline pumping you can't really go wrong with a night or afternoon at the racetrack. Whether horses or dogs if you get a good group together, get your smartest threads on, and get yourselves tickets to the swankiest stand, then you're sure to have a great time. Most courses also allow you to add a corporate box and fine dining to your package so you can really treat your colleagues or clients
Another type of evening which often goes down well is a themed celebration evening. These usually involve dinner and either a DJ or live band and themes range from everything from ancient Egypt, to the 80's, from kings and queens to Mexicana. If you're going with a theme then go to the full extent, with everything from appropriate menu, fancy dress, authentic music and related entertainment.
Whatever you choose, as long as you have delicious food, good people, great wines and fun entertainment, you're event will go with a bang!
